Stiles’ Series Synopsis – Final Fantasy

sss-final-fantasy

The moment has finally arrived! The first entry in my dream project: Stiles’ Series Synopsis of Final Fantasy!

For those interested in a bit of a personal history lesson, this video has been in the works for quite some time in one form or another. I first began an attempt at recording what would have been my first ever video review on the Game Boy Advance version of Final Fantasy back in 2010, using only a crappy PC, an emulator, and a five dollar mic from Radioshack. A lack of usable editing software killed that project rather quickly, and I took up writing text reviews for the series on Gamespot.com, back when Unions still existed. By the way, a shout out to all of you guys in the Final Fantasy Fans Union. If any of you happen to stumble upon this and remember Xx_Kares_xX from those boards back when I was doing the Final Fantasy Challenge, than thank you. That is where I got my start, and you are part of the reason I’m here today doing this. This is the video I wanted to make all those years ago, but had absolutely no way of doing so.

Anyway, welcome to Stiles’ Series Synopsis of Final Fantasy, where I’ll be taking an in-depth look at every game in the main series and will also be reviewing all of the spin-offs. This video in particular covers the first Final Fantasy (big shock, I know). What may be surprising, however, is that I am actually covering two different versions of it here: both the PlayStation Origins edition, as well as the Playstation Portable 20th Anniversary Edition. If you like the video please feel free to like, comment, share and subscribe; all of that fun stuff.

Special thanks to Mathew Elston a.k.a. Minimatt on youtube for the awesome Stiles’ Series Synopsis of Final Fantasy intro in the video. He does great work, and if you want more game reviews, you should check out his channel.
